Let’s take a closer look at the aspects of Life. I don’t mean to be pedantic, I only ask that you follow my logis.
A man has the sperm. This has potential when united with the egg, that a woman has. So both sperm and egg have potential of becoming life when united.
In the womb, preferably not in the test tube, when the union has connected then you have the start of a potential life. you have a life forming aspect, if you would, within the body of the woman.
So far, all these are pretty simple facts. The questions that arise are basically when does the new life become a human being.
Everyone has opinions about the timing of this, but no one, or vey few who are truly enlightened, has the answer, They only have opinions and beliefs. Some beliefs are born out of certain religious beliefs, but they are none the less, BELIEFS ! OPINIONS !
Since mortal man does not really “know” for certain when life begins, he opts to allow his opinions to take precedence over how he shoould act in the case of abortion.
If you listen to Kahlil Gabran, “The Prophet”, he suggest: “Children are from you but not of you. You can house their bodies but not theior souls….”
So when does the life form become a “person”? If you act only on belief, opinion, then what are you doing? something good? Something bad?
I caution that you do not “KNOW”, but you do have an opinion of what you might know, but it may not be reality.
Maybe somethings are just too important to act or not act on until or UNLESS, you KNOW>
Thank you for the forum.
